Every Dollar Saves Lives

A Campaign for Project Globe

Project Globe Consortium needs immediate funding for curriculum development, research, mentor/advisor support, and materials.

It costs Project Globe about $1000 to train each doctor to make a difference in the management of cardiovascular disease risk. Clearly there is a need to train many physicians. Each doctor trained under the PROJECT GLOBE program will see an average of 2,500 patients every year and will bring the benefits of enhanced doctor skills and training from the PROJECT GLOBE programs to every patient.

In addition, health care knowledge passed on to the patient’s family and friends will likely change the lives of many more people. One doctor’s influence will have geometrically increasing benefits to untold numbers of people.

Your contribution will extend the lives of many of the neediest people living in the most underserved places. And it is achievable. Think of the power of a gift that would truly save a life! Or many lives!

  • $50,000 trains 50 doctors, to treat 125,000 patients—more than the total number of students attending Ohio State and University of Florida, the largest universities in the US.
  • $25,000 trains doctors to treat enough patients to overflow Yankee Stadium.
  • $10,000 would treat enough patients to fill Madison Square Garden.
